The Grass Is Always Greener

A lot of people feel there is no better way to spend a beautiful summer Friday afternoon than on the golf course. Unless, of course you are playing the greens to make some green for a good cause.

Springcreek Golf Club  in Claremont recently played host to the DCBE’s (Durham Business Contact Exchange) Annual Charity Golf Tournament.

A good time was had by all. Everyone went home with a nice glow from the sun and exercise, a full tummy and a little peace of mind knowing they had contributed to a good cause.

“We had a great day. The weather cooperated, which has been rare this year. It’s nice to get out with people you know through business and see them relaxing and having fun. You get to know each other on a completely different level. The chance to raise some money for Bethesda House brought us all together as friends.”                                                                   John Martin, Sales Representative at Mincom New Choice Realty Ltd.

The real winner of the day was Bethesda House who went home with a check for $500.00.
